Update on Linda

Since we shared her story at the 2024 Gala, Linda has continued to blossom. She remains active in cheerleading and dance and is showing remarkable emotional growth as she integrates the challenges and gifts of her early years. Linda is expressing her needs with her words rather than with “big behaviors”. She accepts support when she needs help, and she’s learning to calm her emotions while she manages her responses to challenges. Most inspiring is the deepening bond between Linda and her mom Tasha, whose loving commitment and stable presence are a powerful source of healing for Linda, and her entire family. When Linda and Tasha visit our Harman Center, their shared laughter and connection are daily expressions of the transformative power in every nurturing relationship.
