As soon as you connect with St. David's, you'll be met by people who truly respect and care about you. We understand that no matter who you are, sometimes, life is hard. When your child acts in ways you don't understand, when you receive a diagnosis you didn't plan for, when you or a family member have reached adulthood and are ready to connect with other disabled peers–St. David's is there for you. We're ready to take your hand, and to walk forward together, learning what will truly help you, your child, and your family, grow. 

What are the first steps in the St. David's community like?  

1. Reach out to us

   You can call us, email us, or fill out the initial inquiry form.  

2. We'll tell you about St. David's services and approach

   We'll introduce you to our philosophy of care, one that is rooted in collaboration, trust, and evidence-based practices. You'll learn about our interdisciplinary model of care, and the array of services we offer in a single, holistic approach.   

3. You'll share information about your child & family.

   We'll invite you to share your child and family's story, to help us better understand your challenges, and especially, your strengths. This helps us ensure our recommendations are rooted in your lived experience. 

4. We'll recommend next steps made to fit your family.

   Based on our assessments and what you share with us we'll outline an individualized plan that fits your life, culture, and needs. This might include therapeutic preschool, occupational or speech therapy, outpatient mental health, or other services. 

5. You will be connected to a Intake Coordinator who will connect you with the right resources.

   Through a trusting relationship with a Intake Coordinator, you'll partner to ensure the services and logistics your family needs are cohesive, connected, and right for your unique situation.
