Community-Based Disability Services

Fostering independence, connection, and joy for youth and adults with enduring needs.

Community-based care that fosters belonging and well-being.

Our community-based disability services reach young people where they are: in their communities.

Whether we are coordinating social events for some of the most isolated members of society, serving clients in their home, or exploring expression in Music Therapy, our services connect clients with the world. These services offer significant emotional and mental health benefits. Depression and anxiety are extremely common among individuals with disabilities. In fact, 31% experience depression compared with 8% of the general population, and 40-60% experience anxiety, compared with 19% in the general population. But participating in fun activities can boost mood, increase feelings of self-worth, and promote a sense of accomplishment. That’s where the joy comes in!
