Strengthening the foundations that help children flourish.

Our Outpatient Mental Health program supports children and their families with relationship-rooted psychological and emotional support for those times when life takes an unexpected or difficult turn. Our licensed mental health professionals work alongside children and families to navigate challenges, build resilience, and support emotional well-being.

We offer a range of therapeutic services at our centers—including individual and family therapy, as well as clinical consultation—to meet the diverse needs of the communities we serve.

Because we know that a child’s strongest foundation is their relationship with their caregiver, we actively involve parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process. This collaboration is essential to a child’s progress and helps ensure that growth continues beyond the therapy room.

What Families Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Every child is different, but there are some signs that may indicate a need for extra support. These can include frequent emotional outbursts, difficulty focusing, restlessness, negative self-talk, avoidance behaviors, persistent fears or worries, impulsivity, changes in sleep or eating habits, frequent complaints of physical discomfort (like headaches or stomachaches), or challenges in relationships with peers, family, or others.

If you’re noticing any of these patterns, you’re not alone—and we’re here to help.

At St. David’s, we believe that healing happens in relationship. That’s why parents and caregivers are essential partners in the therapeutic process. Depending on your child’s age and needs, you may participate in sessions together or meet separately with your child’s clinician. You’ll also help shape your child’s treatment goals, ensuring that care is meaningful and connected to your family’s values and experiences.

We support children with a wide range of mental health needs. Many of the children we serve have been diagnosed with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, or ADHD. But we don’t just treat diagnoses—we build relationships that foster healing, resilience, and growth.
