In the Early Childhood Nutrition Program, we help families discover simple, fun ways to make healthy eating part of everyday life. Offering a blend of nutrition education, hands-on activities, and family support to make healthy habits sustainable.
- Nutrition Education & Meal Packs
Families receive meal kits with beginner-friendly recipes designed to fit cultural preferences, budget, skill level, and available kitchen equipment. - Gardening Classes
Rooftop gardening sessions in partnership with our downtown campus to learn how to grow fresh, healthy foods. Dietitian Services
Our dietitian provides personalized nutrition counseling to help families reach their health goals.Including topics like:
- Navigating selective eating
- Improving food choices
- Managing food allergies
- Meal planning
- Preventing or managing disease
Families with children ages 0-5 years old, or prenatal
Programming is built into existing services within Home Visiting and Day Treatment Services

Eligibility: This program is open to families currently enrolled in St. David’s Home Visiting or Day Treatment services who:
- Have at least one child age 0–5 or are prenatal.
- Priority is given to families experiencing or at risk of food insecurity.
There are no income requirements.
