Every bite is a step—and no step is too small to count.
Feeding challenges can be stressful for the whole family—but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Our therapists provide individualized evaluation and treatment for children with a wide range of feeding needs, from picky or restrictive eating to oral-motor delays.
We take a non-invasive, relationship-based approach that centers caregiver participation in every session. By understanding what’s happening during mealtimes—what’s working, what’s not—we collaborate with families to create a plan that supports trust, reduces stress, and builds on the child’s strengths. Therapy is most effective when it extends beyond the clinic, so we partner closely with caregivers to practice strategies that feel natural, empowering, and sustainable at home.

When Might a Feeding Evaluation Be Helpful?
Every child has their own pace and preferences when it comes to eating—but some patterns may signal a need for extra support. A referral for feeding therapy may be appropriate if your child shows two or more of the following:
Struggles to gain weight or is losing weight over time
Frequently coughs, gags, or vomits during meals
Has a history of reflux (nasal or gastric)
Experienced a traumatic choking incident
Has trouble moving from purees to solids or other age-appropriate textures
Avoids all foods of a particular texture or entire food groups
Eats fewer than 20 different foods
Family mealtimes often feel stressful or like a battle
If you’re noticing any of these concerns, we’re here to help. Our therapists will work with you to understand the full picture and develop a plan that brings more ease, safety, and connection to your child’s relationship with food.
